FEEDING
Adult Dogs: Can be fed dry or be moistened with 1 cup of warm liquid to every 4 cups of food. A dog’s nutritional requirements will vary depending on breed, age, size, activity level and environment. Start with the standard chart and vary the amount according to your dog’s activity level to maintain proper body weight. Most dogs can be fed once daily. However, when high activity or other factors create high feed intake, twice a day feeding is recommended.

SPECIAL FEEDING
Pregnant and Lactating Dogs: During pregnancy, feed the female twice each day, adjusting the amount to provide weight gain without becoming overweight. After whelping, the nursing female will need 2-3 times her normal food intake to maintain proper body condition.
