FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS
When you first bring your new puppy home, he is under a great deal of stress due to the change in environment. Stress may cause digestive upset. To avoid the further stress of a change in diet, make any change gradually. Add a little of the new diet to the old and for the next 7-10 days gradually increase the amount of new diet and decrease the old. This slow, gradual change should also be made when you change his diet from a puppy formula to an adult diet. A puppy should be fed an amount that will provide steady optimal growth without becoming overweight.
The food intake required to maintain steady growth and good body condition will vary depending on age, activity level, environment and others stress factors. Consequently, the food requirement for each puppy will vary, and should be adjusted accordingly. Use the standard chart as a guide. For best results, keep the puppy on a regular feeding schedule. For example, three small meals a day, or larger meals in the morning and evening. To serve moistened, add one cup of warm water to every two cups of food. Stir and serve.

SPECIAL FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS
